Usman Ghazi is the founder of the Ottoman Empire (Ottoman Empire) and the Ottoman Dynasty. On 16 January 1299, at the Seljuk Room Sultana, he proclaimed the establishment of his small kingdom and took the title of Khan as the leader of Kai Gaetra. The small kingdom established by Usman Ghazi gradually turned into an empire. In history he is known as Usman Ghazi, Usman Bay or Usman Alp. Later, his established dynasty ruled the Ottoman Empire. In 1301, Ottoman Ottoman Turkish leader Usman Seljuk overthrew the Ottoman dynasty and proclaimed himself Sultan of Asia Minor. Before the Battle of Bapheus in the summer of 1302, no one knew Uthman. In 1302, Uthman besieged Iznik, the former capital of the Byzantine Empire. The Byzantine emperor sent him 2,000 mercenaries to Macabella. Uthman defeated the Byzantine forces at Bafias or Bafiyan on the south coast of the Marmara Sea. Uthman’s fame spread all around as he defeated the royal forces.
The Ottoman Turks called their state Devlet-i-Alia-i-Osmania (the highest Ottoman state) or Usmanli-devlet-i (Ottoman state). In modern Turkey, this empire is known as the Ottoman Empirelugu (Ottoman Empire) or the Ottoman Empire (Giuse als). The Ottoman Empire was a kingdom during Uthman’s lifetime.
In the centuries following his death, the kingdom was transformed into a worldwide empire. The Ottoman Empire survived until its dissolution in 1922.
